How does Aberyarn use AI?

We use Anthropic's Claude to help with two things: generating and formatting your main post from raw content you provide, and writing audience-specific summaries. We chose Anthropic because they lead on both quality and responsible AI development. We're aggressive about making sure the AI only outputs what's true to your original content. No embellishment, no invented detail. You bring the substance, AI helps shape the delivery. We think you should know exactly what's happening with your words.

Was Aberyarn built with AI?

Yes, partly. We use AI tools to help us build faster, but the product decisions, design choices, and customer-facing copy are all reviewed by real people. We're two founders in Scotland who care about getting this right. AI helps us punch above our weight, but the thinking is ours.

What happens to my data?

Your data is stored securely and never sold. When AI processes your updates to generate summaries, the content is sent to Anthropic's API but is not used to train their models. We take your internal communications seriously. They're sensitive by nature and we treat them that way.

Can I deliver updates to email or Slack?

Yes. Posts go to the in-app feed, email, or Slack, so people get updates where they already are.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Free for up to 10 users with AI-powered summaries, audience targeting, and basic notifications. There are some limits on post history and deadlines, but it's a real product, not a teaser.
